Inmate Visitation
We offer both in-person visits as well as video visits. Paperwork is required for both. Please have the inmate contact their counselor for this. Complete the paperwork. Send it back to the facility. A visitation officer will read the request and decide if approval can be granted. The inmate will be notified when the visitor has been approved. Visitors must receive approval for either type of visit.
In-person Visits:
In-person visits take place on Saturdays, Sundays, and most major holidays. There are three sessions for in-person visit days:
- 8:00am to 10:00am
- 11:00am to 1:00pm
- 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Video Visits:
For video visits, please go to www.ICSolutions.com. From there, set up an account and make a request. Video visits last for up to 25 minutes per day.

Ramadan observance at Gwinnett County Corrections
Ramadan is the holy month for Muslims. During this month, Muslims abstain from food and drink during the daylight hours. The Islamic calendar is a lunar-based calendar. It is tied to the moon phases. The new day begins in the evening.
During Ramadan, Muslims are required to fast from food and drink during the daylight hours.
Therefore, during this time, staff is advised to:
- Feed participants breakfast before dawn
- Provide a hot evening meal after the sun has set
Those on the list will abstain from lunch daily.
Anyone abusing Ramadan provisions may be subject to disciplinary action and excluded from the list.
A Muslim Feast Day of Eid-ul-Fitr will be held. This date will be posted in all the dorms. A special holiday meal is served on this day. This is already part of the Gwinnett County Corrections Master Menu. Also, in the morning, two hours of prayer will be scheduled for Ramadan participants.
Participants who want to observe Ramadan should submit their requests to their counselor or caseworker.
