(Lawrenceville, Ga., Oct. 10, 2024) --- Gwinnett County Commissioner Kirkland Carden is hosting a District 1 Town Hall on Monday, Oct. 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Suwanee City Hall Council Chambers.

This event provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the upcoming transit referendum and ask any questions about the future of transit in our community.

The meeting will offer insights into the potential impact of the referendum on District 1 and the broader county, addressing topics such as transit expansion and infrastructure improvements. Commissioner Carden and Gwinnett Transportation representatives will be available to engage with attendees, offering clarity on how the referendum could deliver new services.

Suwanee City Hall is located at 330 Town Center Avenue in Suwanee. For those unable to attend in person, the town hall will be streamed live on the County’s Facebook page, @GwinnettGov.
