Vote in advance through November 1
Posted: October 28, 2024
Voters are not limited to Election Day to cast their ballot for the November 5 General Election.
Registered voters can vote advance in person every day, including Saturday and Sunday, through November 1 from 7:00am to 7:00pm at the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Office in Lawrenceville and 11 advance voting locations around the county.
Before heading to an advance voting location, please check wait times.
Absentee by mail voting
The deadline to submit an absentee ballot application was Friday, October 25.
Voters who received their absentee ballot must return their voted absentee by mail ballot by Tuesday, November 5 at 7:00pm. Ballots can be returned by mail, hand-delivered to the Voter Registrations and Elections Office, or dropped into one of the six secure ballot drop boxes around the county. No postage is necessary.
Please note that not all advance voting locations have drop boxes. Ballot drop boxes are now located inside designated advance voting locations and are only available during advance voting hours and days.
Voted absentee ballots can also be hand-delivered to a Registrar at any advance in-person location without a drop box. Upon receipt, the Registrar will request the name and relationship of the individual delivering the ballot.
To ensure voters can drop off absentee by mail ballots before Election Day, the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Office will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3.
