Detectives Seeking to Identify the Suspects in 8 Burglaries in Snellville
(Lawrenceville, Georgia) The Gwinnett County Police Department and Snellville Police Department are seeking to identify the suspects in a recent series of burglaries.
On the morning of June 15, several burglaries occurred along the Highway 78 corridor. Three of them occurred in unincorporated Snellville and the additional five within the city of Snellville.
The lead investigator assigned to the GCPD Burglary Unit is investigating cases at:
- John Boy’s Home Cooking – 3050 West Main Street
- Petsmart – 2150 Paxton Lane
- Metro PCS – 4895 Stone Mountain Hwy
All eight burglaries occurred during the early morning hours. The last one was committed at the Metro PCS. A witness sitting in the parking lot of the Lowe’s Home Improvement heard the alarm go off. He saw a male running to a vehicle parked in the parking lot near him. The individual was described as a light skinned black male with short dreads coming out of the bottom of the hat he was wearing.
On surveillance, a light skinned black male is seen wearing a Georgia Bulldogs sweatshirt. The other suspect is seen wearing a scarf around his neck. At this time the identity of the two suspects is unknown.
