County facilities closed, some services impacted by winter weather

Road Conditions: Residents Advised to Stay Off Roads!
Gwinnett Police and other County partners have responded to numerous road issues and vehicle accidents. The police department is encouraging everyone to stay off the roadways unless absolutely necessary.

Parks and Other Facilities Remain Closed January 11
County parks and trails, the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center, and all OneStop facilities will remain closed Saturday, January 11. Our teams remain activated to support all five warming stations and will be onsite at the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center to provide care for the animals during the closure.

Ride Gwinnett
Due to inclement weather, Ride Gwinnett will not operate local, microtransit, or paratransit service on Saturday, January 11.

Regularly scheduled service will resume on Monday, January 13.

Trash and Recycling
Due to winter weather conditions, residential trash and recycling services in unincorporated Gwinnett County will be delayed from Friday, January 10, to Monday, January 13. As a result, trash and recycling pickups may be postponed by one day for the remainder of the week starting January 13. Please continue to place your trash out on your regularly scheduled service day, as we expect all collections to be completed by Saturday, January 18.
