1988 SPLOST Program: $37.2 million
Pre-Trial Detention Center Construction of the Pre-Trial Detention Center was funded with money from the 1988 SPLOST program. The 333,000-square-foot facility with 1,298 beds opened in 1991 and cost $37.2 million to build.

1985 SPLOST Program: $65.7 million
Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Gwinnett's first SPLOST program paid for construction of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (GJAC), a $65.7 million facility that opened in 1988. The east wing originally housed 28 courtrooms, offices for the District Attorney and court clerks. The building also contains an auditorium, jury assembly room, cafeteria, law library and Sheriff's offices in addition to County administrative offices in the west wing. |
