Lifestyle spending account
Gwinnett County funds lifestyle spending accounts for full-time benefits eligible employees to use on eligible expenses related to physical, financial, and emotional well-being. This benefit meets the needs of everyone, regardless of age, life stage, or circumstances, and is designed to enhance employees’ overall well-being. The County’s LSA will reimburse 50% of each eligible claim submitted.
A lifestyle spending account’s eligible expense list is extensive with a wide variety of options to choose from. There are three categories of expenses related to well-being: physical, financial, and emotional. Eligible expenses include:

- Financial adviser and planning services
- Financial seminars and classes
- Auto repair
- Utilities
- Rent
- Mortgage
- Childcare
- Eldercare

- Athletic equipment and accessories
- Exercise equipment
- Gym, health club, spa and fitness studio memberships
- Fitness classes (yoga, Pilates, spin/cycle, dance, etc.)
- Lessons (golf, swimming, tennis, dance, etc.)
- Personal trainer
- Fitness trackers
- Fitness entry fees (marathons, leagues, etc.)
