Trails at the GEHC
With more than 5 miles of natural surface and paved trails, there is a trek everyone can enjoy! Outdoor adventures wind through woods, hills, and natural shoals along Ivy Creek. Visitors can rest at a trail-side council ring or enjoy a picnic at a wooded pavilion. There is even a braille trail for sight-impaired visitors! |
Visitors might even encounter local wildlife or spot unusual native mushrooms, lichen, ferns, or woodland flowers. Help protect and conserve the natural wonders by taking only memories and photos and leaving only footprints. |
Ivy Creek Greenway
Gwinnett greenways are trails for fitness, recreation, non-motorized transportation, economic benefit, conservation, and protected wildlife habitat. The Ivy Creek Greenway opened in 2008 as the inaugural route for the Gwinnett Greenway System.

There is an additional trailhead at George Pierce Park, which includes paved trails and boardwalk that will connect to the other greenway segments in the future.
