Six aspiring attorneys took a major step in their legal careers as they were sworn in by Superior Court Judge Tamela Adkins, marking their official entry into the legal profession. Amanda Nicole Lankford, Evan Davis Crowder, Anika Akbar, Angelica Reed, Sarah Aneese Mirza, and Yeonjung Yun Waller recently received the exciting news that they passed the July 2024 Bar Exam and prepared to take their attorney’s oath.

This momentous occasion was held in partnership with the Gwinnett County Clerk of Superior Court and the Gwinnett County Bar Association, celebrating a new generation of attorneys committed to serving the Gwinnett County community.

As per Georgia's legal requirements, new attorneys must be sworn into the profession before they can practice law. The ceremony not only symbolizes the beginning of their careers but also serves as an affirmation of their commitment to uphold the values of justice and integrity.

Judge Adkins congratulated each attorney on this significant achievement, highlighting the dedication, perseverance, and passion required to reach this milestone.
