Gwinnett Police to hold annual Operation Children Thrive back-to-school supply drive

Back to school season is quickly approaching and Gwinnett Police wants to ensure families get the support they need to help their students return to school prepared.
Gwinnett Police will hold Operation Children Thrive back-to-school supply drive to provide students the supplies they need to achieve academic excellence.
Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and can be dropped off at the Gwinnett County Police Headquarters, Gwinnett County Police Training Center, and all Gwinnett County police precinct lobbies.
The department is accepting a variety of donations through Monday, July 25 including:
- Bookbags/backpacks
- Colored pencils and markers
- Safety scissors
- Tissues
- Paper
- Crayons
- Pencils and erasers
- Glue sticks
- Pencil pouches
- Calculators/flash drives
- Pens
- Index cards
- Highlighters
- Pocket folders
- Rulers
- Notebooks (composition and spiral)
- Hand sanitizer
