The Public Information Office is the point of contact for media representatives.  Public Information Officers, or PIOs, assist in routine news coverage, respond to major incidents, issue press releases, and arrange press conferences.  The Public Information Office also handles requests from entertainment media, such as television, film, and podcasts.

Media requests for police reports and other materials should be submitted by email.  Follow GCPD on X (formerly Twitter) for press releases and updates on major incidents.
