To report a fire or medical emergency that is in progress, please the Gwinnett County Emergency Dispatch Center by dialing 911. To report a non-emergency situation, please call 770.513.5700. If you have an emergency and you are calling from outside Gwinnett County, please call 770.513.5911.

Obtaining a Fire Report Copy

To obtain a copy of a fire report, please visit the online open records portal. Be prepared to provide the date and time of the incident, person(s) name, and type of incident.

Environmental Open Records Requests should be directed to the online open records portal. The requests are from contractors for haz-mat and environmental matters only.

Media Reporters and Assignment Desk Editors

All reporters and assignment desk editors are urged to contact the Fire-PIO when seeking breaking news or incident information. The Fire-PIO is in the office Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and is available both to the media and for emergency response after hours 24/7. To reach the Fire-PIO please use the following:

The Fire-PIO is the primary point of contact for the news media regarding any Fire and Emergency Services information or happenings. This includes emergency and non-emergency/administrative activities.
