The Tax Assessor’s Office is located on the first floor of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. Our staff is available by walk-up, email, or by phone from 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays, except during County holidays. Please allow up to three business days for an email response. Property research, copies of annual Notices of Assessment, and pending appeal status updates can be accessed 24/7 using our online self-service tool.
Documents may be filed by mail or by placing them in the drop box located outside the Assessors’ Office at the Gwinnett Justice and Administrative Center in Lawrenceville.
We are passionate about providing exceptional customer service to all residents and customers requiring our assistance. Our responsibilities include identifying and appraising all taxable property in Gwinnett County, ensuring state laws and regulations are adhered to, overseeing the appeal process as provided by state law, and providing Annual Notices of Assessment.

To assist individuals seeking public records, Gwinnett County offers an online Open Records portal. Requests for records from Gwinnett County Departments and Offices may be made through this portal and will be coordinated through the Open Records Office.
