Gwinnett Youth Commission Application Form

Applications will be open from March 1 to April 15, 2025.

To be considered, students must meet the following criteria:

Submit a completed application.
Must be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior going into the 2025-2026 academic year.
Must attend a Gwinnett County Public School, Buford City School, private, charter, or home school in Gwinnett County.
Must be a Gwinnett County resident (residency will be verified to ensure eligibility).
Submit Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, coach, mentor, faith community member, work supervisor, etc. Letter should include overview of relationship with applicant, special interests, motivations, leadership qualities, and examples.

Please email Letters of Recommendation to CivicEngagement@GwinnettCounty.com. This letter may be submitted after you apply, but no later April 15. All applications submitted without a letter of recommendation will be disqualified after April 15.

Why do you want to participate in the Gwinnett Youth Commission?
