2015 Budget Review Meetings
Budget review meetings typically take place near the end of Gwinnett County's annual budget planning cycle. During this step in the process, representatives from departments and agencies present business plans and proposed budgets to Board Chairman Charlotte Nash and the budget review team. Comprised of County staff as well as residents appointed by Nash, this team examines needs and recommends how resources should be allocated. Click the links at the bottom of this page to view the departmental business plan and budget presentations that were made in September 2014 for the 2015 budget preparation process.
Nash's proposed 2015 budget was presented to the Board of Commissioners and the public on November 18, 2014. A public hearing was held two weeks later, on December 8, and the Board continued to collect public comments online through the end of the year. On January 6, 2015, the Board adopted a $1.42 billion budget for fiscal year 2015. Read more about the 2015 budget (PDF).
The departmental business plan presentations were previously aired on TV Gwinnett, the County’s government access cable television channel, and are available on demand on this web page. Click the links below to watch the presentation videos or view the presentation materials.
