79th Police Academy recruits graduate
The Gwinnett Police Department’s 79th Academy members graduated from the intensive law enforcement training on April 15. Family and friends of the new police officers, elected officials, and law enforcement personnel attended the ceremony held at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville.
Police Chief Charlie Walters presented certificates and badges to all 17 graduates: Matthew R. Barton, Ryan H. Buffington, Monte “Kip” Cruce, Anthony J. D’Arienzo, Brent E. Davidson, Michelle Fini, Carlos R. Floyd, Mark Glass, Vance E. Gumbs, Matthew A. Hefner, Dennis Hornes, Christopher A. Justice, Jonathan R. Leach, Peter M. Markow, Kimberly A. Riddle, Gregory J. Wilson, and John A. Witkowki III.
