The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department held a graduation ceremony for its 20th Academy on June 23 at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville. Family and friends of the 13 new deputy sheriffs, elected officials, and law enforcement personnel attended the ceremony.

The new Deputy Sheriffs are: J. Baird, M. Beecher, D. Beretta, A. Booker, D. Bowman, W. Eddington, J. Gordon, D. Hall, W. Hall, C. Jefferson, E. Pease, J. Rao, and J. Smith.
