Gwinnett County requires that contractors pay a Residential Service Fee to the county for collection, transportation, and disposal or processing of residential municipal solid waste, residential recovered materials, bulky waste, and/or white goods. A Certificate of Occupancy will be issued by Planning and Development after the Residential Service Fee has been paid and all other permit requirements have been met.

To receive an invoice for the Residential Service Fee, you must complete a Solid Waste Builder Form (PDF). An invoice will be sent within 48 hours upon receipt of your form.
