The Support Services team manages the design, construction, and maintenance of facilities; manages the acquisition and disposal of real property and right-of-way; supports the delivery of essential services through the purchase and maintenance of the County's fleet and the purchase and dispensing of fuel; manages residential solid waste contracts; manages cafeteria and food service contracts; and provides records management services, mail services, housekeeping services, and grounds services to support County operations.

Business Services Division

• Budget preparation and administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing liaison, agenda item management, and the coordination of process improvements and performance management measures.
• Develops and implements training on financial management practices
• Implementation of internal process improvements concerning financial processes
• Accounting for fixed assets, biennial asset audit, and support of the County’s facility asset management program 

Facility Construction Division

• Manages capital construction projects including fire and police stations, libraries, and other general government buildings and large maintenance projects
• Manages large maintenance projects

Fleet Management Division

• Manages purchase of County vehicles
• Manages fuel purchases and services for the County and other agencies
• Administers underground storage tank program
• Manages disposition of surplus vehicles and equipment

Operations and Maintenance Division

• Manages smaller maintenance projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Maintains and repairs County facilities
• Manages scheduled maintenance (in-house and contract)
• Provides housekeeping and grounds services

Real Estate and Records Management Division

• Maintains County property and lease records
• Manages property acquisition and disposal
• Provides records management, storage, and retrieval for multiple County departments
• Provides County-wide mail services
• Manages cafeteria and food service contracts

Solid Waste Management

• Administers solid waste programs
• Provides community outreach to increase recycling
