(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  On October 17, at approximately 5:18pm, Gwinnett Police received a call in reference to a male slumped over in a vehicle at 1210 Scenic Highway in unincorporated Lawrenceville.  Police and Fire Department personnel responded and found the male, identified as Zachary Meadors (28) from Lawrenceville, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.  The Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s Office responded and took control of the body.  Zachary Meadors was reported missing on October 15.  He was last seen on October 13.  Zachary was removed from the system as missing and next of kin notification has been made.  Zachary did have warrants for his arrest out of DeKalb County.  For further in information on that portion of the case please contact DeKalb County Police Department.
