ORIGINAL: (Norcross, Ga., Nov 8, 2024) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one male deceased.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., officers assigned to our West Precinct responded to 2400 Windsor Woods Lane in unincorporated Norcross in reference to a person shot call. When officers arrived on the scene, they located one deceased male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. At this time, Homicide investigators are canvasing the area and conducting interviews. The Gwinnett County Crime Scene Unit is also processing the scene, and the Medical Examiner's Office has been requested. Preliminary details indicate that at least two males were involved in a type of altercation that led to gunshots being fired. Detectives have one male detained at this time.
