ONE FEMALE DECEASED IN APPARENT DOMESTIC-RELATED HOMICIDE
UPDATE #2: (Norcross, Ga., Jan 13, 2025) – The Gwinnett County Police Department has arrested Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres without incident, and he will be transported to the Gwinnett County Jail later today.
UPDATE #1: (Norcross, Ga., Jan 13, 2025) – Detectives have identified Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres (age 26, Duluth) as the suspect in this case. Arrest warrants have been issued for malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. His current whereabouts are unknown. The victim has been identified as Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez (age 24, Norcross).

ORIGINAL: (Norcross, Ga., Jan 10, 2025) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating the death of one adult female.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., officers assigned to our West Precinct responded to a stabbing call in the area of 1200 Hunters Club Lane in unincorporated Norcross. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the deceased body of one adult female inside her apartment. Officers secured the crime scene, and homicide detectives, alongside our crime scene unit, responded to the scene. The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's office has also been requested. Detectives are currently conducting interviews and gathering evidence. Preliminary information indicates this was a domestic-related incident between the deceased female and a known individual.
