GOT OUTSTANDING MISDEMEANOR BENCH WARRANTS?
(Lawrenceville, Ga., April 26, 2011) - The Gwinnett State Court has a one-time deal for you: If you have an outstanding misdemeanor probation warrant for failure to pay fines and costs or failure to comply with other probation conditions then you may be eligible to have your bench warrant recalled and not be subject to arrest on the outstanding warrant. Terms and conditions will apply, such as all fines and fees must be paid in full and all other conditions of probation must be fulfilled.
Contact Southeast Corrections between May 1 and June 30 to determine if you qualify for the state court amnesty program. The court says that people will not be arrested if they begin reporting and complete the terms of their terms of probation during this period. In those cases in which only fines and fees need to be paid, then upon payment, probation will be terminated.
Probationers may contact Nicki Long, Program Manager with Southeast Corrections, at (404) 410-2555 ext. 1003 with any questions regarding this program.
