Motion Picture Money Used Fraudulently

(Buford, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Fraud Unit is seeking information that could identify two people suspected of using motion picture money to make a large purchase.  The incident occurred at the Walmart (3250 Sardis Church Road, Buford) on Tuesday, July 19.  The two suspects made the fraudulent purchase between 3pm-4pm. 

The Loss Prevention Supervisor contacted GCPD to report that one of the cashiers accepted $1,000 worth of fraudulent currency.  The suspects used the fake money to buy lawn equipment.  Later that day, the female returned one of the items at another Walmart (Buford Drive/I-985) for cash.  

The cashier who accepted the bills quit her job shortly after the incident. 

Suspect Descriptions

Black Male, pink shirt, khaki shorts, white Chicago Bulls hat, white sneakers
White Female, black shirt and pants, tattoos on both arms and chest, eyeglasses

Vehicle Description:

Red 4-door hatchback (possibly Ford Focus or Kia Forte)
