Gwinnett Equity Officer Aisha DeBerry was recently recognized as one of Georgia’s 100 Women of Excellence on March 14 during the Women’s Day at the Capitol event at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.
The event, part of Women’s History Month celebrations, honored trailblazing women across the state whose leadership, dedication, and impact have helped shape their communities and inspire future generations.
Throughout her career, DeBerry has demonstrated resilience, purpose, and a deep-rooted dedication to uplifting others. Her work as Gwinnett County Government’s first-ever Equity Officer is leaving a lasting mark.
DeBerry was celebrated not only for her professional accomplishments, but for her role as a mentor, advocate, and visionary woman of influence. Her achievements continue to serve as a beacon for those committed to building more equitable communities.
