Volunteer Opportunities

In 2023, Water Resources conducted or partnered on 32 volunteer events with more than 650 volunteers. During these events, over 19,000 pounds of trash and debris was removed from Gwinnett waterways, almost an acre of invasive plants were cleared, and over 100 feet of stream bank was stabilized. We are fortunate to have county and community partners including Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, Georgia Piedmont Land Trust, Yellow River Water Trail, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, and more for these events.
You can find ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities at Volunteer Gwinnett.
