Gwinnett County Surplus Sales
From time to time, Gwinnett County Government disposes of surplus personal property. The Fleet Division within the Department of Support Services manages the sale of personal property surplus items within the parameters outlined in the Purchasing Ordinance.
When an item is no longer of use to Gwinnett County or becomes unserviceable, such item may be sold at a public sale, sealed bidding, spot bidding or any other means deemed most advantageous to the County. All sales for personal property items where the original unit purchase cost is $10,000 or less are approved by the County Administrator. The Board of Commissioners approves sales for personal property where original unit cost exceeds $10,000.
