- A Teen Victim Impact Panel (TVIP) to educate teen drivers of the potentially fatal consequences of dangerous driving. Two websites dedicated to helping teen drivers to become responsible and safer drivers are http://www.iwhtm.org/ and http://www.tvip.org.
- The Gwinnett County Family Violence Task Force is made up of representatives from criminal justice, the courts, prosecution, law enforcement, parole, probation, faith, mental health, health care, education, social services, businesses, survivors, civic groups and other interested citizens.
- Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) works to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors.

- The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department's primary levels of responsibility are to maintain the jail, provide courthouse security to the Gwinnett County Justice and Administration Center and the Recorder's Court/Juvenile Building, serve all civil processes, maintain the sex offender registry and serve felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants.
