The mission of the Community Affairs Section is to expand on our department’s long-time commitment to the community by strengthening positive relationships and trust through fostering police-community communication, interaction, transparency, and mutual respect.

The goals of the Community Affairs Section are:

• Building TRUST
• Increasing understanding/communication between residents and officers
• Encouraging our officers to better relate to diverse communities
• Seeking ideas to innovate and improve our services
• Effecting positive change on crime reduction
