Membership levels
There are two levels of membership available with the Gwinnett Entrepreneur Center. Find more details about each level below. Then, learn about pricing and policies.
Membership is not permanent. The intent is to help businesses with the challenges particular to startup and growth. Each new member will sign a membership agreement that includes a graduation plan with milestones that must be met in order to maintain membership. At the completion of the graduation plan, the membership will end, and the center will invite a new applicant to become a member replacing the outgoing graduate.
Membership is based on the applicant’s fit with the mission and community culture of the center. The culture includes a willingness on the part of members to engage with the center community by participating in events, activities, and mentor interaction opportunities.
Resident Membership
Workspace will be available for entrepreneurs who live in Gwinnett and have gone through an application and interview process. Selected Resident Members who are launching or growing businesses can work out of the center for a designated period. During that time, the center will help them as they will develop plans to stand up or ramp up their business. The center will be looking for candidates who have strong potential to graduate and create jobs in the county.
Affiliate Membership
The center will offer Affiliate Memberships for Gwinnett businesses who have already have workspace elsewhere. While they will not have a desk in the center, these members will receive certain services, such as conference room use, printer/copier use, graduation plan, and connection to other resources.
Opportunity Program
The County also wishes to work with entrepreneurs who are facing financial challenges, and so it has established the Opportunity Program with discounted pricing. The discounts are available for both Resident and Affiliate memberships. Please see the Member Handbook for more information.
Apply for Membership
Before applying for membership, please learn more about our pricing and policies and read through the Member Handbook. Also, you should tour the center to ensure it is a good fit for your business.
The center management team will review all applications, interview selected applicants, and subsequently choose which will be invited to become center members.
