What is the Business Outreach Program?
The Business Outreach Program is a free service designed to identify the needs of local employers and connect them with resources and solutions that remove barriers to growth. In many cases, insights gained in visits with Gwinnett companies have resulted in the creation of completely new programs and services that are helping companies succeed and thrive in Gwinnett. Central to the program is an in-person visit where WE come to YOU at your business and meet with you; the meeting will last an hour or less.
Who participates in a Business Outreach visit/meeting?
Our visit will include a member of the Gwinnett County economic development team, and depending on anticipated needs identified for your company prior to the visit, we may involve other local and state public, private and non-profit partners. These may include, but are not limited to Partnership Gwinnett, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and economic development professionals representing key utility service providers. We will be interested in meeting members of your leadership team as well as any others you would like to invite, such as your facilities or human resources managers.
How can we assist?
- Business relocation and expansion assistance
- Connections to business resources and assistance (local and state)
- One-stop pre-planning meetings with Planning and Development
- Workforce development and training
- Public relations/promotion in the region
- Opportunities to engage County officials
