The Jimmy Carter Boulevard Master Plan will define a future land use vision that applies the Daily Community Framework from the 2045 Unified Plan to foster redevelopment opportunities and establish a multimodal transportation network that improves connectivity for people to walk, bike, or use public transportation along this vital county corridor. The plan will examine infrastructure investments, housing needs, and placemaking enhancements to facilitate this vision. A robust engagement effort will be implemented to ensure community members are involved throughout the plan development process.

To ensure successful community engagement, a project advisory committee is being established. The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will be an instrumental part of the plan's success. Comprised of community stakeholders, the CAC will guide the project team throughout the full master plan process and provide feedback on the plan's goals, approach, development concepts, and recommendations. As representatives of the county's diverse communities, CAC members will also share key plan information, engagements, and milestones with their peers and neighbors. The CAC will be convened as a full committee three times: in June 2025, October 2025, and February 2026. In addition, CAC members are encouraged to participate in other public engagement events throughout the process.
