The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for establishing and enforcing standard project management methodology and provision of project management resources to ensure consistent project delivery success. Key responsibilities of the PMO are listed below:
- Manages selected technical projects for the delivery of technology solutions within the County
- Ensures projects are delivered on-time, within agreed upon scope, to approved budget and to customer’s satisfaction
- Ensures project stakeholders receive regular project updates per schedule agreed upon by stakeholders
- Maintains an accurate IT Project Portfolio
- Champions project management best practices and ensures standards are followed
- Establishes and enforces project quality standards
