Voter ID Requirements
Voter I.D. Requirements (English and Spanish)
College I.D.s accepted for voting (English and Spanish)
All voters are required to show photo identification when voting. If you do not have any of the identifications types listed above you may obtain a free photo identification card for voting at any of the following locations in Gwinnett:
Free Georgia Voter Identification Card Locations
Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections Office, 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville GA 30046; office hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Georgia Department of Driver Services, Lawrenceville Customer Service Center #54, 310 Hurricane Shoals NE, Lawrenceville GA 30045; office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Georgia Department of Driver Services, Norcross Customer Service Center #64, 2211 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross GA 30071; office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Georgia Department of Driver Services, Lithonia Customer Service Center #67, 8040 Rockbridge Road, Lithonia GA 30058; office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Proof of Citizenship
If you are required to show proof of citizenship to complete your registration, you may do so in one of the following ways:
- Make a copy, if allowed, and mail to: Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections, 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200., Lawrenceville, GA 30046
- Scan a copy to voterregistration@gwinnettcounty.com
- Fax to 678.226.7208
- Appear in person at the Elections Office
- Present the proof of citizenship either to the poll manager of your precinct on Election Day or the poll manager of any satellite advance voting location.
