Ethics Filings
Beginning January 10, 2011, county candidates and elected officials were required to file all Campaign Disclosure Reports and Financial Disclosure Statements directly to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission (formerly the State Ethics Commission). Their website is Ethics.Ga.gov.
Beginning January 2014, county candidates and elected officials will be required to file all Campaign Disclosure Reports and Financial Disclosure Statements directly to the Gwinnett Board of Registrations and Elections.
The Gwinnett Board of Registrations and Elections Office maintains all reports and statements received prior to January 2011 for five years as required by law and will maintain filings for county candidates and elected officials beginning in January 2014 for five years as required by law. These filings are located both in the Gwinnett Board of Registrations and Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building as well as on the County’s website.
Lobbyists must file reports with the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission and file a copy of such report with the election superintendent of each county involved if the report contains any expenditures related to county or county school district affairs. The commission’s website is Ethics.Ga.gov.
Campaign Contribution Disclosure Reports, Financial Disclosure Statements, and Lobbyist Report Forms that are filed with the Gwinnett Board of Registrations and Elections are available for review online.
Please note that filings for the office of District Attorney, the offices of Superior Court Judge, and all federal offices are not maintained by the Gwinnett Board of Registrations and Elections.
