Public Relations
The Public Relations and Marketing Division supports the needs of the County’s administrative departments and elected officials by coordinating communications with residents, businesses, and visitors, as well as internally. The division develops strategic communications plans and executes them alongside experts in web, media, video, design, outreach, and other areas within the Communications Department.
The PR and Marketing Division coordinates the publication of various documents, such as Gwinnett County Connection, a monthly newsletter about current County programs and events. The division also manages the social media presence of Gwinnett County Government.
This office produces other informative documents such as the State of the County brochure, a summary of accomplishments for a given year.
The division also coordinates proclamations on behalf of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and special events such as groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings and commemorative ceremonies at the Fallen Heroes Memorial.
