2014 Budget Review Meetings
Budget review meetings take place during the first week of September, near the end of the County's annual budget planning cycle. Representatives from departments and agencies present their business plans and proposed budgets to Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash and members of the budget review team, which includes citizens and County staff. This year, Nash has tapped four residents to help review needs and allocate resources for the 2014 budget.
The Chairman’s proposed 2014 budget will be made available to the public and news media at the same time it is presented to commissioners, which will occur before December 1. A public hearing on the budget will be held in December. By County ordinance, the Board of Commissioners must adopt the annual budget during its first meeting in January.
The presentations will be aired on TV Gwinnett, the County’s government access cable television, and made available on demand on this web page. Click the links below to watch the presentations or view the materials.
