Approval/authorization to initiate the process for the Gwinnett County 2040 Unified Plan. The Unified Plan is the County’s Comprehensive Plan, and incorporates the Consolidated Plan, and the master plans from the Departments of Transportation, Community Services, and Water Resources. The Unified Plan will consist of three primary tasks, undertaken by lead consultant Pond & Company. The plan will be carried out within a Stakeholder and Public Involvement Plan (PIP) framework. The PIP is a part of the planning process that will solicit community values and desires from County residents and stakeholders and ensure that a wide variety of voices are heard during the process.
