Enjoying a lighted lazy river ride, attending a Grinch-themed event, and making stained glass art are just a few things to do in Gwinnett this weekend!

Check out these events taking place Friday, December 12 through Sunday, December 14.

Enjoy bright lights on the water

Attend a glide-thru light show at the Merry and Bright River Night on Friday, December 12 at the Bethesda Park Aquatic Center! From 7:00pm to 9:00pm, float through a lazy river surrounded by shimmering lights, enjoy light refreshments, make festive crafts, and snap a photo with Santa! Floats will be provided, but attendees can bring their own noodles. Personal inflatables are not allowed, and all pool rules apply.

Children ages 7 to 10 must be accompanied by an adult in a swimsuit. Children 6 and younger must have an adult in the water with them.

This event costs $15 for Gwinnett residents. Registration is required by Wednesday, December 10.

See who's who at a Grinch-themed event

Bring the family to the fourth annual Holiday Whobilation on Saturday, December 13 at Lenora Park. From 11:00am to 3:00pm, visit the Whoville craft market for free s’mores, a kids’ zone, and more. Dress in your best grinchy attire for a chance to win the title of Holiday Cheermeister with a prize!

This event is free for all ages.

Join a DIY stained glass workshop

Residents ages 50 and up can create their own faux stained glass masterpiece on Sunday, December 14 at the Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Bethany Church Road (formerly OneStop Centerville). Join us from 11:00am to 12:30pm — all materials will be provided.

This event costs $15 for Gwinnett residents.
